I MISS UNION CAMP!!
Had sooooo much fun during camp that I'm kinda having post camp syndrome now!
Running around Singapore, Sentosa, Jurong east swimming complex and NUS was so much fun! I wasn't expecting much from it cause as i've said i'm not a v camp-y person but i really enjoyed it! Yes it was tiring cause we slept at like 3 plus 4 am everyday cause of supper/football/heart to heart talks/games but it was a memorable experience. My OG's called 'the thing' which is kinda like wth? but nonetheless we're cool! We were on a losing streak on the first day and lost like almost all the station games but we got back on track soon, especially at sentosa and the swimming complex. We're good in the water man! hahaha. Maybe cause we were innocent honest little kids on the first day but we went over to the dark side and got involved in flagrant cheating cause we couldnt take the failures hahaha. I played Secret Pal for the first time and I guess it was quite fun? At least my SP was quite nice to talk to and super un-singaporean guy-ish in terms of character, not too bad! The last day of the camp was the best, didn't know jurong east swimming complex could be such a fun place, esp the wavepool and lazy river! Oh man I miss camp!!

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!

Being at USS really makes you feel like you're overseas, the only thing that constantly reminds you that you're still in Singapore is the weather - hot and humid everyday for the next 200 years. The setting of USS is amazing but the rides are just so-so. Only the "Revenge of the mummy"ride can be described as exhilarating, the others are quite disappointing, either too slow or kinda like 'wth?' The Shrek 4D show was rather cool though! Like 4D!!! We actually felt water splashing on us when donkey sneezed, spiders under our feet when the screen showed spiders and the chair moving when shrek was on the carriage. HOW COOL! The 3D effects were damn real, so real that sometimes it's scary! Yep that's the cool part, other than that, nothing much.
We actually booked 2 rooms at siloso beach resort to stay over yesterday, fun! We wanted to get go clubbing but decided that we were too lazy and inappropriately dressed for clubbing so we decided to get some barcardi back to our rooms but 7/11 didn't sell it so i settled for apple juice in the end. Lol. Went to siloso beach at 11pm+ to play sparkles (which was kinda childish), and hell yes the beach did feel creepy at night!! Huipei claimed that she saw someone swimming, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. How is that possible! I think we were quite freaked out cause the whole stretch of beach was empty except for us so after playing we returned to our rooms to talk. I like girls talk, and Francine was so nice to listen to me rant about my life while the rest of them played card games ( I refuse to learn card games so I don't know how to play most of them. You can laugh at me. lol)
I love this kinda gatherings, esp since i've been so caught up with work that I've not been able to catch up with friends so often. Anyway, there're more photos on fb, check them out! :D
